Singer and popular conservative Ted Nugent has been irked by the Parkland shooting survivors and the gun reform activism that they’ve championed since the shooting. Nugent recently began an attack on the teenagers, using extreme rhetoric, calling the kids “poor mushy brained children who have been fed lies” and insinuating that they’re “committing spiritual suicide.”
It didn’t stop there either, as Nugent launched into an all-out assault on the teenage shooting survivors.
“The dumbing down of America is manifested in the culture deprivation of our academia that have taught these kids the lies, media that have prodded and encouraged and provided these kids lies,” the “Wang Dang Sweet Poontang” singer exclaimed. “I really feel sorry for them because it’s not only ignorant and dangerously stupid, but it’s soulless.”
He continued, “To attack the good law-abiding families of America when well-known, predictable murderers commit these horrors is deep in the category of soulless.”
“These poor children, I’m afraid to say this, but the evidence is irrefutable, they have no soul,” the conservative musician said.
This is a change in rhetoric for the conservative who, as recently as last year, called for the calming of bipartisan tensions.
“I’m gonna take a deep breath, and I’m gonna back down,” he said in June. “If it gets fiery, if it gets hateful, I’m going away and I’m not gonna engage in that hateful rhetoric anymore.”
Twitter was obviously enraged:

I would normally call for a boycott of Ted Nugent, but nobody is buying anything he is selling already. pic.twitter.com/jdwmSfFsa3

.@TedNugent's lack of self-awareness is a marvel to behold; to be that devoid of decency, compassion, & goodness—and still mount such a high horse.
Ted, you keep trolling teenage shooting survivors—and let the rest of us figure out who possesses a soul.https://t.co/sdMicF8ij1— John Pavlovitz (@johnpavlovitz) March 31, 2018
Ted Nugent:
"These poor children, I’m afraid to say this and it hurts me to say this, but the evidence is irrefutable, they have no soul."
Wrong Ted, people who care more about money and guns than they do the lives of children are the ones without a soul.
That includes you!

Ted Nugent, because when I want a reasoned voice for the advocacy of responsible gun use, I turn to a guy who admits to molesting underage girls and who shit himself in order to avoid military service
